Description

Music Styles: Blue, Folk, Rock, Pop, and Country.
Keys Available: 14 keys (see the chart below)

The Major Diatonic is the only “standard tuning” harmonic in the Lee Oskar lineup and is the most popular of the four.

No matter the name, they all have the same notation layout as the Lee Oskar Major Diatonic. What sets the Lee Oskar apart from the rest of the competitors is the overall construction due to the quality of materials, design flow, and sound they produce.

THE TRADITIONAL BLUES TUNING.

The Major Diatonic harmonica is the most commonly used tuning for playing Blues, Rock, Country Folk & Jazz.

Major Diatonic harps are produced by several manufacturers using various names such as Blues Harp, Marine Band, Golden Melody, Big River, Special 20, Pro Harp, Folk Master, Star Performer, etc.

Although the cover plates are stamped with a variety of different names for marketing purposes, all of these harmonicas have the exact same notation layout as the Lee Oskar Major Diatonic.

The most important difference is in the quality of materials, construction, design and sound. Lee Oskar's are the best harmonicas in the world, and that's not just our opinion.

Low F# harmonica

Sometimes I tune my guitar a half step down to make it easier to sing if I’m struggling. All the songs I used to play with a G harp I now can use the low F#. I didn’t even know they made such a thing
Glad I got it

It is ok

Aflat. I use it only rarely ( We cover Constant Craving). My old A flat was a Lee Oskar as well.
The new one was a wee bit unresponsive. Hoping it breaks in.

Lee Oskar Major Diatonic (Keys A and C)

I bought these two harmonica's about 3 weeks ago and I have had time to check them out. Out of the box the gaping and the tuning was spot on. They feel good in the hand, respond well to bending and the tone is loud and projects well.
